How to describe my feelings when I saw and touched and held my novel for the first time! I felt disbelief, fear and excitement, not unlike the feelings I had on first holding my newborn babies. The same for announcing the arrival of my book to my family – thrilled but not sure what their reaction would be. I needn’t have wondered; they threw a potluck supper celebration within days. What a thrill to give each grandchild a hug and a signed copy of “Gramma’s book”. That their parents would have to wait until Christmas to receive their hardcover copies made it all the more fun. Here are five of our grandchildren reacting with their notable sense of humor!
